Pate de Foie is a free interpretation of Laura Iniesta, painting, and Faustí Llucià, photography, of the snakes and ladders’ board, which has maintained the traditional distribution of the squares and the rules of the game.

Loaded with ancient symbology and promoted as informative of certain values, the board game continues to be an exemplary way to the supposed perfection where only luck decides the fate of the players. With roots in ancient Greece culture, it is the representation of the way of life and as such passion, love, death and above all fortune are the main players.

The objective of the path is, in this case, a more prosaic idea: the liver of the goose. The way to perfection is the sacrifice of this third character, alien to the interests of the players.
